The Biggest Sports Shoe Manufacturer Wants Yuan To Increase Revenue In June.
Yue Yuen Industrial (Holdings) Ltd., 0551.HK said on Thursday that its operating income in June was $442 million 800 thousand, an increase of 12% over the same period last year.
According to its output, the company is the largest manufacturer of sports shoes in the world.
The Hongkong listed company earned $394 million 700 thousand a year ago.
Yuyuan industry is a subsidiary of Pou Chen Corp. (9904.TW), Taiwan.
Yuyuan industry earned $2 billion 490 million in the first half of this year, compared with $1 billion 860 million in the same period last year.
Yuyuan industry is a constituent stock of Hang Seng Index.
Its factories in China, Vietnam and Indonesia manufacture sports shoes for brands like Nike Inc. and Adidas (Adidas-Salomon AG).
