Inspired by the opening date of Beijing 080808, Nike designers have designed colorful octagonal figures around the colors of the five rings to celebrate the sports festival and pay tribute to the auspicious meaning of "8" in Chinese traditional culture.

Many Nike Sportswear products, either implicitly or directly, show the colorful shape of the octagonal shape -- from the laser cutting holes to the delicate and complex screen printing, all of which symbolize the year of the birth of Nike Sportswear, and sports are the soul of the series.
