The Sanyo Sanyo Corporation from Japan released their latest mobile phone, SCP-8400, which was customized for Sprint, the US mobile operator, on 09, 13 2006, Beijing time.

As the newest member of the 8000 Series, SANYO SCP-8400 is equipped with a 65536 color QVGA (240 x 320) resolution TFT inner screen and a 1 million 300 thousand pixel head with a visible area of 2 inches. It supports the extension of the third party micro SD (T-Flash) memory card and is also compatible with MP3 and AAC format music file playback.

This machine has continued several predecessors' flip model, and has also adhered to the high performance price line.

According to foreign reports, the retail price of SANYO SCP-8400 is 279.99 US dollars, or about 2300 yuan.

If the user signs a 2 year contract in Sprint, then the price of the mobile phone can be reduced to $99.99, or 800 yuan.
