Cotton staple market this month is still in a doldrums after a substantial adjustment last month.

Due to the lack of market prospects and the tight funds of enterprises, more than 50% of downstream enterprises are in the process of stopping the purchase of cotton lint.

This market situation has led traders to boost their shipping mentality, which has led to continued downward trend in cotton lint prices.

At the end of the month, the mainstream price of first class goods has fallen below 4000 yuan / ton.

Due to the loss of supply and demand, traders enthusiasm for shipping increased, resulting in cotton short lint market will continue to decline.

(two) cotton pulp

This month, there is a divergence in the market trend of pulps, and the prices of filament pulp remain stable (see chart 1.2).

The price of short silk pulp decreased slightly.

Because of the sharp price trend of short fiber this month, the price of short staple pulp based on staple fiber market also showed a downward trend.

Especially in the first half of the month, short filament pulp continued to go down.

As of 18 days, the price of short silk pulp dropped to 9 thousand yuan / ton, a decrease of 1500 yuan / ton from the beginning of the month, or 14.29%.

Subsequently, the price of short staple pulp also remained stable due to the drop in the price of staple fibers.

1, production and marketing overview

According to statistics from China Textile Circulation Association (sample enterprise), 57806 tons of staple fiber were produced this month, a decrease of 488 tons from last month, a decrease of 0.84%.

An increase of 1902 tons compared with last year, an increase of 3.40%.

Sales volume was 55359 tons this month, a decrease of 829 tons compared with last month, a decrease of 1.48%.

An increase of 676 tons compared to the same period, an increase of 1.24%.

The stock was 36649 tons this month, an increase of 2465 tons from last month, an increase of 7.21%.

An increase of 28151 tons compared to the same period, an increase of 331.27%.

The sales and sales rate this month is 95.77%, down 0.62 percentage points from last month.

As a result, the price of staple fiber did not rise with the increase in demand, but on the contrary, it dropped considerably.

By the end of the month, the price of staple fiber dropped to 16 thousand and 500 yuan / ton, a decrease of 1 thousand and 900 yuan / ton compared with the beginning of the month, or 10.33%.

The price of short staple fiber will be dominated by the following market prices.

3, sales direction

According to statistics from China Textile Circulation Association (sample enterprise), sales of viscose staple fiber mainly concentrated in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Henan and export areas this month.

Inflows of major sales areas vary little.

Inflow in other areas is relatively small, and little change.

Hainan, Sichuan, Yunnan, Gansu, Qinghai and other areas this month viscose staple fiber inflow blank.

The filament market this month showed a trend of first fall and then stable.

At the beginning of the month, the price of filament fell sharply, due to the decrease of downstream demand and the increase of enterprise stock.

6 days ago, it fell to 32 thousand and 500 yuan / ton, down 1000 yuan / ton compared with the beginning of the month, or 2.98%, which is the lowest point this year.

Subsequently, the market performance was relatively active, and the number of disk access increased.

The filament prices will remain stable from late to late month (see chart 2.2.2).

Because of the large inventory pressure of filament enterprises, there will be no price increase in the near future.

Therefore, it is expected that the future price of silk will remain the current price level.
