Foreign trade meets expectations in the first half

According to the data released by the customs, in the 1-6 month of this year, the import and export volume of the whole country achieved a sum of US $1 trillion and 234 billion 170 million, an increase of 25.7%.

Of which, exports amounted to US $666 billion 600 million, an increase of 21.9% over the same period last year.

Imports amounted to US $567 billion 600 million, an increase of 30.6%.

"From the first half of the year, China's import and export trade has maintained a steady growth momentum.

Under the joint action of weakening external demand and macro control measures, one characteristic of the first half of the year's foreign trade is that the growth rate of exports has slowed down and the increase of imports has accelerated.
