The United States Is Going To Set Up A New Textile Research Center In Pennsylvania.
On July 31st, the Pennsylvania group and the Economic Development Council of the United States approved $1 million 300 thousand in funding for the establishment of a new textile research center in Pennsylvania.
Of these funds, $1 million 255 thousand and 500 was awarded to Philadelphia University by the Franklin Technology Development Council to establish the advanced textile research and innovation center in Pennsylvania.
The main purpose of the centre is to provide research, development and advanced material system testing in the field of ecological and human protection applications, mainly in textiles.
The three main research areas of the Pennsylvania advanced textile research and innovation center include identification of toxic agents in consumer textiles and clothing, coordination of human comfort interference with protection of textiles, and nanofibrous technology of ecological equipment.
