Slovakia'S Industrial Output Has Increased, While The Manufacturing Output Of Leather Products Has Dropped By 22%.
In June, Slovakia's industrial output increased by 6.2% over the same period last year.
The output of the manufacturing sector increased by 7.2%, and mining and quarrying fell by 1.9%.
Natural gas, electricity and water supply also affect the development of industry.
The manufacturing of power generation and optical equipment has created the highest annual growth rate of the manufacturing sector, reaching 20.4%.
The pport sector's manufacturing output increased by 15%; the manufacture of rubber and plastics increased by 14.3%; the output of chemicals, chemical products and synthetic fibers increased by 10.3%; pulp, paper and paper products increased by 4.9%.
The manufacturing of machinery and equipment has risen by 3.5%.
Metal and metal products increased by 2.5%.
The production of leather and leather products decreased by 22%, output of wood and wood products decreased by 11.2%, and output of textiles and textile products dropped by 9.6%.
The production of coke and refined products dropped by 2.8%, and the output of food, beverage and tobacco decreased by 0.8%.
