According to the Zhongshan inspection and Quarantine Bureau, the EU will take the place of the second largest trading partner of Zhongshan's garment export in the first half of this year, and the proportion of exports to the EU is far lower than that of the US and Hongkong markets in terms of the structure of footwear exports.

No enterprise protest in Zhongshan

A shoe industry official said that because the EU market order is smaller than the US export orders, even if it continues to extend anti-dumping duties, the impact on the enterprises will not be great.

She went on to say that although the EU market could not be completely abandoned, there was no need to protest against any material preparation for orders.

As of yesterday, no shoe industry in Zhongshan protested the EU's anti-dumping review procedures.

It is understood that as one of the two largest export bases in China, Wenzhou, Kangnai, AOKANG, Dongyi, Tai Ma and other leading enterprises are actively preparing materials after the EU announced that it will continue to levy anti-dumping duties on Chinese shoes.

Recently, these shoe enterprises will re apply for market economy status to the European Union, that is to say, to lodge a protest against the European Union. The Wenzhou footwear export and export committee chairman Chen Guorong is striving for the EU to cancel the anti-dumping duty as soon as possible.
