Zhu Xianmin, vice-chairman of the China Textile machinery and equipment industry association, introduced the current development of the textile industry and textile instrument industry to the delegates. He also hoped that the participants could make comments and suggestions on how to make the production of domestic textile instruments meet the development needs of the textile enterprises.

Yao Mu, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering, analyzed the development trend of textile instruments at home and abroad with a large number of examples, introduced the development of textile instruments at home and abroad and the frontier technology of textile instrument development, and emphasized the importance of quality control in the production process of textile instruments.

He said that at present, there are problems in China's textile instrument industry, which are seriously lagging behind in the product standard measurement verification regulations and lack of industry evaluation basis. In order to improve the market environment of the textile instrument industry and promote the healthy, orderly and rapid development of the industry, the China Textile Machinery and accessories industry association Specialized Committee should attach great importance to rationalize the management order of the industry, attach importance to the formulation of the technical specifications for measuring instruments, and change the present situation of textile instrument metrology management as soon as possible, and hope that the state will give policy support.

At the seminar, representatives of some textile instrument manufacturers made special speeches, and introduced the development and production of textile testing instruments by their respective enterprises.
