Indonesia'S New Clothing Import Trade Measures
Recently, Indonesia Newly released import trade The measures involved clothing Category products.
The Ministry of trade of Indonesia stipulates that from December 5, 2008 onwards, the next two years, clothing , footwear Imports of 5 categories of commodities, such as electronic products, children's toys and food and beverages, shall be responsible for the registration of registered trade enterprises (registered importers) and customs clearance through international airports or 5 designated large seaports located in Jakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Mindanao and Makassar.
The general importer may apply to the Ministry of trade for registration as an importer. Importers are required to report their import implementation to the Indonesian trade department every 3 months.
