Pakistan Textile Minister: Rely On Textile Industry To Save The Market
Pakistan textile minister Mr Khan said: "only the textile industry can help Pakistan get rid of the economic crisis. For this reason, textile enterprises will get the necessary help in the period of economic turmoil.
If the textile industry is strengthened, in addition to creating foreign exchange, the textile industry can create hundreds of thousands of job opportunities for unemployed youth in Pakistan.
Mr Khan was the guest speaker at the workshop on "trends in cotton production, processing and spinning industry". The hot topics discussed in this workshop include the adoption of the best method, the increase of cotton yield, the role of BT cotton, the adoption of the latest technology, the optimization of spinning methods, and so on.
The minister said that if cotton growers could get a better price in addition to government subsidies, the development of the textile industry would be more prosperous.
Because if farmers get the right price, farmers' enthusiasm can be improved. They are more willing to grow cotton, and the textile industry does not need to import foreign cotton.
