India Century Textile Company Suspends Tyre Yarn Production
India s century textile industry company announces that in view of the poor market prospects and reduced demand, the company will temporarily suspend production of some viscose filament / viscose tire yarn located at Maharashtra state plant, and the production will begin at the end of February 2009.
The production of viscose yarn may be reduced by about 25% due to the stop of tire yarn production.
At the same time, the cord fabric factory will undertake preventive maintenance and equipment replacement. But the production of man cotton yarn and chemical fiber yarn will not be affected.
