China Is Considering The Re Establishment Of Specific Import Quotas For Cotton.
According to Dow Jones newswires, an industry insider said on Thursday that China's national development and Reform Commission is considering whether to set up a separate import quota for cotton.
一位知情人士稱，中國紡織品進(jìn)出口商會已經(jīng)向國家發(fā)改委申請頒布一個30萬噸的棉花進(jìn)口配額。紡織品進(jìn)出口商會的一位官員證實，已經(jīng)通過商務(wù)部提出了配額申請，并且探討這一可能性的會議已于周四舉行。但他同時表示，他不確定申請配額的具體數(shù)字。
China's cotton import quota in 2009 was 894000 tons, which has been maintained at this level since 2004.
