Dagen Laid The Foundation Of Botswana Textile Industrial Park
China Dagen Botswana Textile Industrial Park foundation laying ceremony and Dagen Dagen international charity fund donation ceremony was held in Gaborone, capital of Botswana. The park is the first phase of China Botswana economic and trade cooperation zone, which is jointly invested by Daheng holding group and Dazhi Road International Holding Group from Zhejiang's "going out" business.
The China Botswana economic and trade cooperation area was proposed by the president of Botswana, Mogae, to Daheng holding group and Dazhi Road International Holding Group at the summit held in Beijing in November 2006. The total investment of the first phase of the textile industrial park is 51 million 800 thousand US dollars. It plans to attract 66 enterprises to invest and build factories, attracting foreign direct investment of US $280 million, providing 8000 local employment, and forming an industrial park dominated by textiles and garments.
The China Botswana economic and trade cooperation area project has won strong support from the government of Botswana and the Chinese government. The Ministry of trade and industry of Botswana, the General Administration of export development and investment, the Ministry of land resources and housing, and the embassies of both countries have made great efforts to implement the project.
The Dagen Botswana international charity fund, established by the same time, was donated by Dagen group (Botswana) Limited. It plans to donate 10 million prandial cash and goods to Botswana in 10 years to help orphans, widows and widows, disabled and mentally handicapped, natural disaster victims, etc.
