Due to the backwardness of China's leather standardization system and the lack of relevant testing standards, the operability of the existing test standards is poor, which seriously restricts and affects the healthy and sustainable development of China's leather industry.

According to the introduction, through the research work of the project, the problem of color interference in the six valent chromium test process is effectively solved, and the content of free formaldehyde in leather chemical materials can be quickly and accurately determined.

In addition, the research on testing methods of leather products and mould resistance, the research of testing methods for leather products and mould resistance, and the research on the testing technology of pigment paste thermal stability have filled the blank of domestic testing technology, providing strong technical support for improving the quality of domestic leather, enhancing the competitiveness of the international market, and improving the environmental protection and safety performance of leather products.
