Textile And Garment Export In Ningbo Port In March
Statistics from Ningbo customs of Ningbo, China Netcom show that textile and garment exports from Ningbo port rebounded in March, due to various favorable factors. Exports amounted to US $1 billion 180 million, an increase of 12.6%, a 1.1 times increase in the ring ratio, reversing the sharp decline in two consecutive months since January of this year.
Private enterprises export exceeded 5, and the export of individual industrial and commercial households increased steadily. In the first quarter, the private enterprises in Ningbo port exported 1 billion 890 million US dollars of textile and clothing, an increase of 6.5%, accounting for 57.3% of the total value of exports, and 10 million 510 thousand of individual industrial and commercial households increased by 22.1%.
The EU is the largest export market. In the first quarter, Ningbo port exported $900 million to the EU's textile and apparel products, a decrease of 1.3%, representing an increase of 5.3 percentage points compared to the 6.6% decline from 1 to February, still occupying the largest export market position.
