Changzhou Textile Industry Integrates Industrial Chain To Warm Up
The textile industry is a traditional industry in Changzhou. With the support of many policies and measures, the textile industry in Changzhou gradually reversed the continuous decline in its business situation from the fourth quarter of 2008.
Look at the 2008 statistics: the textile industry accounts for 12% of the city's total output value, and the employed population accounts for 22% of the total employed population in the city. Yan general, general manager of Qiu Tian Bao Garments Co., Ltd. in Changzhou, said that the development of Changzhou's textile industry has already made five great progress: the price of raw materials has dropped, the appreciation of RMB has been reduced, interest rates have dropped, the textile industry's revitalization plan has been promulgated, and the export tax rebate rate has increased to 16%. He believes that the situation in the textile industry is still very grim, but all kinds of good will help to promote the overall development of the industry.
At present, the textile industry has not yet come out of the trough, which is an unavoidable reality. What kind of pragmatic way to let local textile enterprises embrace warmth?
In March 31st, the Changzhou textile and garment enterprise cooperation Fair was held at Kunshan production base of CHENFENG group. There were 20 textile fabric enterprises and 20 garment enterprises. This is the "point to point" docking activity organized by Changzhou economic and Trade Commission.
On the same day, Jiangsu CHENFENG group Limited by Share Ltd and Changzhou moonlight corduroy Co., Ltd., Changzhou Black Peony (Group) Co., Ltd. and Changzhou Abe Garments Co., Ltd., Changzhou third group and Changzhou Qiu Tianbao Garments Co., Ltd. signed cooperation.
"This is the first formal marriage between Changzhou fabric enterprises and garment enterprises. Through the integration of local industrial chains, we can upgrade products from fabric development, clothing service performance and ultimate customer needs to promote the development of the industry." Changzhou economic and Trade Commission responsible person said.
On the day of the activity, Changzhou economic and Trade Commission also organized enterprises to observe the innovation capacity training base of the China Textile Import and export chamber built in Kunshan production base of CHENFENG group. This is a national allocation of 12 million yuan, the two floor fabric display area has been completed, the first floor clothing display area, the third floor accessories exhibition area, the four floor information center, the five floor training base is under construction. Next, the state will invest here to build a testing center approved by domestic commodity inspection and foreign customers.
