China'S Import And Export Volume Of Service Trade Ranked Fifth In The World Last Year.
Despite the adverse situation facing the international financial crisis, the growth of China's service trade is still far higher than the global average.
The Ministry of Commerce announced today that the total volume of imports and exports of trade in services reached US $304 billion 450 million in 2008, an increase of 21.3% over the previous year, an increase of 9.6 percentage points.
According to the latest WTO statistics, last year, the world rankings of export volume of service trade rose to fifth from seventh in 2007, and imports ranked fifth in the world.
In 2008, the total import and export volume of world trade in services amounted to US $7 trillion and 200 billion, an increase of 11% over 2007, an increase of 6 percentage points over the previous year.
