The "crown" Tajik nationality on the Pamirs Plateau
Tajik is an ancient ethnic group with a long history and splendid culture. Now there are more than 30 thousand people in China. 60% of them live in the Pamirs of the Pamir Plateau. The rest are mainly distributed in the counties of Shache, zip, Aktau and PI Shan nearby.
Tajik people from ancient times who lived in the eastern part of the Pamirs and the Tajik people who moved eastward from the western part of the Pamirs constitute the Tajik in China.
