The "Chinese elements" large-scale cultural activities in World Expo, Shanghai, are the highlights of the intangible cultural heritage of Chinese folklore, customs, languages, music, dancing, ceremonial celebrations, handicrafts and other intangible cultural heritage after the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

It is reported that a total of 12 national and provincial intangible cultural heritage protection projects were selected.
