Nanning ASEAN Region Makes Great Efforts To Build A Textile And Footwear Industry Base
According to the management department of Nanning ASEAN Economic Development Zone, the development zone is now making efforts to build Taiwan (Nanning) textile industrial park with the leading role of Taiwan Mayes footwear industry. Through undertaking eastern industrial pfer and attracting investment, it attracts relevant supporting enterprises to enter the development zone to form the industrial cluster of light textile industry, garment production and footwear manufacturing.
The goal of the development zone is to build Guangxi's first and first class textile and garment industry base.
To this end, the development zone has promulgated relevant supporting policies for supporting the development and construction of Taiwan (Nanning) light textile industrial park and other supporting policies, giving strong support to the projects that enter the light textile industrial park, such as giving financial support to enterprises that carry out product upgrading, technological pformation and developing trade and processing trade, and exempting local income tax and land use tax for certain projects within a certain period of time.
It is reported that Taiwan (Nanning) light textile industrial park is one of the 11 key industrial parks in Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, with a total investment of 12 billion yuan and a planned area of 6.23 square kilometers.
At present, there are 8 enterprises in the light textile industrial park, with a total investment of 1 billion 340 million yuan, including the shoe factory project of Nanning mays Footwear Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 80 million dollars, and a total investment of 115 million yuan in Nanning Nanxi shoe industry Co., Ltd., and the total investment of 75 million yuan in Guangxi's Quan Quan shoes industry limited company shoe making project 3 items are also completed and put into operation.
After all these enterprises have been put into operation, the annual output value exceeds 2 billion 200 million yuan.
