1~5 Exports Of Textiles At Jiangsu Port Exceeded 500 Million US Dollars

Customs statistics show that the export of textile yarns, fabrics and products, clothing and accessories at Jiangsu port in 1~5 this year totaled 880 million US dollars, up 27.2% over the same period last year.
In February and March of this year,
Jiangsu
Port textile and garment exports continued to fall, and began to enter the rising channel in April. In May of that month, Jiangsu port exported textiles and clothing 220 million US dollars, an increase of 52.9% over the same period last year, a 17.8% increase over the previous month, and a monthly export of over 200 million US dollars for the first time since 2009.

Data show that, 1~5 months, Jiangsu port export textiles 570 million US dollars, an increase of 39.5% over the same period, accounting for 64.3% of the total textile and garment exports of Jiangsu port in the same period, and the contribution rate to the overall export growth of textile and clothing was 85.2%.
In the same period, export garments and accessories were 310 million US dollars, up 9.7% over the same period.
