India textile department almost frozen technology renewal fund plan (TUFS). In other words, it will not provide new funding for the technology reform plan now.
The Ministry of textiles notified the relevant institutions, banks and designated lending institutions not to approve new funds, so as to freeze all the new proposals under the technical reform fund plan until the new cabinet was removed by the cabinet Economic Affairs Committee.
The plan will be implemented by 2013. In the eleventh plan, the technology pformation fund scheme has allocated 80 billion rupees, but all the funds have been used up.
Although there has been no visible effect on the plan, the new appropriation time may be delayed for at least one month.
