The World Expo

One of the Estonia cultural projects, the Estonia TV Youth Chorus appeared at Expo Park in Shanghai. The small actors gave a wonderful performance to the tourists in the European Plaza.

Despite the hot weather, the children's cheerful singing and light dance attracted many tourists to stop watching.

Teenagers

The choir was founded in 2006 and consists of 41 children aged between 8 and 12.

The choir members began to learn singing at the age of 3~4, while they also received dance training, and many of them could play musical instruments.

Despite their younger age, these children have participated in several international conferences and symposiums for cultural performances, recording programmes for Estonia TV and radio, and holding concerts in venues such as Estonia concert halls, churches and schools.

Their interesting music and dance successfully displayed the charm of classical choral music, folk songs and pop music.

They won the first prize in the 2008 Estonia competition Youth Chorus group and won the first prize of Czech Republic's Olomouc international singing festival in 2008 with the advantage of full score.

Expo Garden

Before, the Estonia TV Youth Chorus just took part in the sixth world chorus competition held in Shaoxing, and won the single championship in the first stage of the competition, becoming one of the 12 gold medal winners.

In this cultural project, they play together with several other Estonia chorus for the World Expo of Shanghai to bring wonderful music to the audience.
