It is a new strain bred by the breeding of Merino sheep in China. It is cultivated with wool fine gene biological detection technology. Besides having the basic fine characteristics of Chinese Merino sheep, it is more prominent that the wool is finer and finer and can reach more than 80 indicators. The length of wool fiber is no less than that of the same 70 branches. Therefore, the spinnability and spinning number of domestic wool are greatly improved. It is the leading domestic product and fills the blank of high-quality domestic wool materials for the high-end products of wool textile industry.

The trial began in 1988. The first trial produced an average fineness of 23 microns; in 1999, the second time was 21 microns; in 2003, third times was 19 microns.

In 2009, after fourth trial production, the average fineness was 16.77 microns, and the quality of 80 or more tops was achieved.

Australian wool

For wool tops, individual indicators are superior to 80 imported Australian wool tops.

In process of production, the dyeing property of process performance is basically the same as that of 80 Australian wool.

The finished worsted fabric has high quality appearance, good elasticity and full fat. It has been well received by customers.

At the same time, it is believed that late management of wool should be strengthened, especially in shearing and sheep marking, so as to further enhance the potential value of 80 wool.
