Since July, the China Textile Industry Association Industrial Cluster Working Committee has started the 2010 textile and garment industry cluster reappraisal work. It has successfully completed the reappraisal work of many important industrial clusters, such as Wang Tai town, Zibo Zhoucun District, Zhejiang Shaoxing county and Tongxiang mountain town, Jiaonan City, Shandong province.

Xia Lingmin, Deputy Secretary General of the China Textile Industry Association, said: "the main purpose of the review is to promote the follow-up development of industrial clusters at all levels of government, industry associations and enterprises in Fujian. During the review, more than 10 government leaders, association leaders and dozens of leading enterprises representatives from 16 textile industrial cluster pilot areas were present. They listened carefully to the opinions of the reappraisal panel and gave a detailed report on the industrial development situation of various industrial clusters in recent years.

At the meeting, the review team introduced the recently issued Interim Measures for the management of public service demonstration platform of national small and medium enterprises, which has aroused strong repercussions among representatives of various industrial clusters.
