Yesterday, the Shanghai international design and Trade Promotion Center was unveiled.

Tang Dengjie, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce and vice mayor of Shanghai, attended the ceremony and jointly unveiled the center.

The center will focus primarily on home textiles, textiles, clothing, bags, shoes, watches and jewellery, and so on. It will be based on Shanghai, the Yangtze River Delta, and the public service platform that serves the whole country.

By promoting the effective docking between the design masters and the production enterprises, we will provide product design to the foreign trade enterprises in Shanghai, the Yangtze River Delta and even the whole country.

At the early stage of the center, six core functional platforms will be built to make it an international design training center, an international design and Research Center, an international design Exchange Promotion Center, an international design exhibition trade trading center, an international design intellectual property protection and paction pformation center and an international design center creative investment fund.
