At the same time, the amount of salt and chromium can be reduced by 50% and 20% respectively, and the total absorption rate of chromium is more than 95%.

The reporter learned that, in order to achieve cleaner production, since 2006, the key technology research and integration demonstration of new circular efficient water-saving and clean tannery as a major science and technology project in Haining has been implemented in the country. The total investment in the project is about 27000000 yuan.

As a participant of the project, Haining Fu Sheng Leather Co., Ltd., which produces hundreds of thousands of sheets of leather every year, applies this set of water-saving and clean tannery technology to production, with obvious results.

Zhou Yonggen, chairman of the company, told reporters that the biggest feature of the new process is the recycling of water.

While less water is used, it also reduces the discharge of waste water.

The reclaimed water can be used for raw skin soaking, floor washing of workshops, and water film dust catcher for replenish water.

It not only saves water, but also brings considerable economic benefits to enterprises.

Zhou Yonggen calculated an account and calculated the annual production of 300 thousand pieces of fur. After the technological innovation, the cost of water and sewage treatment could be saved by 158 thousand and 600 yuan.

At the same time, the quality of leather has been effectively improved through the new technology, and its added value has also increased by 1/3, so that the annual output value of enterprises can be increased by about 14000000 yuan.
