This is the first standardized professional institution established in Fujian's textile and garment industry. It is also a new attempt to make standardization work in close cooperation with the textile and garment related institutions in the province's quality supervision system.
It is understood that there are more than 20 thousand textile and garment enterprises in Fujian, of which more than 2400 enterprises are above designated size.

Fujian province fiber inspection bureau responsible person said, Fujian clothing and textile Standardization Technical Committee was established, will promote Fujian textile and garment standardization work step by step with the international standards, to a higher level.
The Fujian Fiber Inspection Bureau and the national textile and garment product quality supervision and Inspection Center (Fujian) belong to the Fujian Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau. The Bureau has actively drawn up or participated in the formulation of several national, industrial and provincial standards.
