Vietnam'S Textile Exports Account For 2.5% Of World Market Share.

Recently, the world textile production and export market has undergone great changes due to the rise in labor costs.

Textile exports in Mexico, Romania, Turkey and other countries accounted for a larger share of world market share, while the share of China, Vietnam and Bangladesh increased.

The share increased from 33.2% in 2008 to 40% now. Meanwhile, Bangladesh rose from 2.5% to 3% and Vietnam increased from 1.7% to 2.5%.

Added: the United States continues to be one of the 40 largest importers of Vietnamese footwear products. In the 1-9 months of this year, the total import volume of footwear from Vietnam exceeded 1 billion US dollars, up 32.9% from the same period last year, the Ministry of industry and trade of Vietnam said.

This figure accounts for 28% of Vietnam's total footwear exports, in Vietnam in 1-9 this year.

However, the export of shoes to Cuba, Switzerland, Portugal and Reed declined, added the Ministry of trade and industry of Vietnam.

Vietnam is the world's fourth largest exporter of footwear, and its footwear export revenue in 2010 is expected to reach US $5 billion 200 million.
