The amount of large orders in the second quarter of 2011 was flat compared with the same period last year, while the wholesale price dropped by about 6% after the dealer discount rate, the company said on Friday.

Zhang Zhiyong explained that in the past, the mode of excessive reliance on distributors to promote growth was difficult to sustain, and the cost of retail operators was also rising rapidly, making the independent dealers' growth expectations for next year more conservative.

The company has taken the initiative to reform its distribution system, including the integration of inefficient distributors. The company expects these measures to bring short-term pains. In the next two quarters, the order of Lining brand may still face some pressure, but this will help stabilize the healthy development of the group.

Lining edged up 0.24% on Friday, closing at HK $21.25.
