(CNC) research released recently shows that Chilean people's consumption habits have changed significantly in the past ten years.
The actual retail sales in Chile's capital region averaged from 2000 to 2010.

From the point of view of products, electronics, clothing and shoes are the most growing ones, and food is the only category that falls.

Driven by productivity competition among Asian countries, the cost of such products has dropped by 20%, and the speed of product upgrading has accelerated significantly.
