On March 21st, Fujian entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau announced that 18 Codamotion gait acquisition system was successfully installed and debugged successfully in the Jinjiang Laboratory of the national footwear inspection center.

This is the first Codamotion infrared 3D gait acquisition system introduced by China. Its commissioning has made the national footwear inspection center one of the most advanced footwear sports biomechanics testing laboratories at home and abroad.

The system is mainly composed of 9 infrared camera collectors and 26 infrared active illuminant identification points. The kinematic parameters of the lower limbs and shoes are collected automatically by infrared camera collector, including position, acceleration, speed, action time, jumping height and length, body joint rotation, angle change and other parameters. The movement characteristics of various movements, the movement characteristics of shoes and feet, and the influence of shoes on lower limb motion are analyzed.
