The purpose of the above investigation is to grasp the actual situation of labor wages and social insurance in enterprises in various regions, so as to formulate labor policy, wage policy and social insurance policy every year. In accordance with Vietnam's 2008 ~2012 wage and social insurance policy reform process, the Ministry of labour will formulate the basic salary for each economic zone implemented in 2012 on the basis of gross domestic product (GDP), consumer price index (CPI), salary increase ratio and market wages in 2011.
