Vietnam Japanese Clothing

Due to reasonable labor cost Vietnam became Japan clothing and Spin Businessmen ideal Investment Destination, a senior official of Japan's international cooperation agency said.

Japan The official of the international cooperation organization Xiaoshan made comments on the consultations on the export of garments and textiles to Japan held in Hanoi in April 26th.

Xiaoshan said many Japanese investors are pointing to China's plus one business strategy and establishing other production lines instead of concentrating only on China, thus diversifying their supply sources. Vietnam is one of the destinations for which they are concerned.

In view of the sustainable growth of Vietnam's clothing and textile exports, Xiaoshan said Japanese partners can help Vietnam build capacity, train managers and labor.

Vietnam's Ministry of industry and trade reported that in 2010, Vietnam's clothing and textiles exports to Japan amounted to 1 billion 200 million US dollars, accounting for 11% of the total exports of the country. At present, Japan is Vietnam's third largest importer of clothing and textiles, second only to the United States and the European Union.
