The net contract volume of US cotton exports was 15 thousand tons in 2011/12, and the main buyers were Thailand, South Korea and Indonesia.
The export volume of us upland cotton exports is 80 thousand tons, up 4% from the previous week, 13% less than the average level of the previous four weeks, and mainly shipped to China (19 thousand and 900 tons), Turkey, Vietnam, Indonesia, Mexico and Brazil.
In 2010/11, the net contract volume of the US Pima cotton export was 1 thousand and 100 tons, a significant increase from the previous week, which was the same as the average four weeks ago. The main buyers were Pakistan, India and Peru.
In 2011/12, the net contract volume of the US Pima cotton export was 400 tons, with the main buyers being Japan and India.
The export volume of Pima cotton is 1 thousand and 800 tons, which is mainly shipped to China (600 tons), Pakistan, Germany, India and Japan.
