Japan is the main market for textile export in our county. However, when the reporter immediately asked the responsible persons of 5 textile production or export enterprises located in Keqiao, Binhai, Ping Shui and other business contacts with Japan, most of them expressed no knowledge of the "white list qualification" matters.

According to the Information Statistics Department of the China Textile Industry Association, in order to avoid increasing the cost of export enterprises for batch inspection of Japanese textiles, after more than a year of consultation between China and Japan, the China Textile Industry Association and the Japanese Fiber Industry Federation have reached a consensus on the implementation methods of specific azo dyes self-regulation standards, that is to establish a "white list registration system" through cooperation between the two sides.

The so-called "white list registration system", jointly established by the China Textile Industry Association and the Japanese Fiber Industry Alliance, can check the qualification of the dyeing enterprises concerned.

Enterprises that have obtained "white list qualifications" do not need to detect specific azo dyes when exporting their products to Japan, so as to avoid this "green barrier" to Japan's exports.

At present, the "white list registration system", jointly established by the China Textile Industry Association and the Japanese Fiber Industry Federation, has been developed and put into trial operation on the line. The audit of the "white list" qualification of dyeing enterprises has begun.

It is worth reminding that dyeing enterprises can register through the "white list registration system" from now on and submit the "white list" qualification application to the China Textile Industry Association.
