On the evening of May 23rd, JEANSWEST Fashion Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou University of Light Industry art and Design Institute, and the International College of Academy of Fine Arts jointly hosted the "JEANSWEST Cup", the 2011 fashion graduation design exhibition and design competition, which was held in Zhengzhou University of Light Industry.

This event is co sponsored by Zhengzhou garment industry association, China Fashion newspaper and China trousers industry magazine.

The 30 series of more than 150 sets of costume designs exhibited in this event are excellent works selected from the graduation design of the 2011 fashion design major.

These works, with the theme of "My Fashion diary", integrate into different elements such as leisure, fashion, avant-garde, nostalgia and so on.

While inheriting and drawing on the elements of national traditional culture, the works break through the conventional ideas in the aspects of process production and material utilization, reflecting the author's unique design conception and interpreting their understanding and grasp of fashion.

The head of the Department of fashion design, Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, said that this visual feast shows the teaching achievements since the school started in 1983, expanded the professional influence, enhanced the social awareness, and demonstrated the beneficial exploration and deep thinking of the school in terms of school running characteristics and discipline construction.
