In order to be bigger and stronger

According to the development goals of the textile industry determined by the "Xinjiang 12th Five-Year plan" plan, the "measures" mainly support the new cotton textile projects and textile deep-processing projects of the new construction and extension of the Corps, and add to the southern Xinjiang.

In 2009, in order to support the cotton textile industry to become bigger and stronger and undertake the pfer of the domestic textile industry to the west, the Corps formulated the "guidance and adjustment of the textile industry's adjustment and revitalization of the corps", and issued the Interim Measures for the management of the cotton spinning and weaving subsidy funds of the Corps, giving 1 million yuan subsidy to the newly added cotton spindles per 10000 spindles.

After two years of development, the Corps has added more than 900 thousand spindles of cotton spinning, 740 looms, 24 million tonnes of dyeing and dyeing, nearly 30 thousand tons of dyeing capacity of cheese and towels, and 20 thousand tons of cotton fiber dyeing capacity, which has played a catalytic role in achieving the "3 million target" cotton spinning planning objective of the Corps in 11th Five-Year.

During the "12th Five-Year" period, the Corps will continue to give full play to the advantages of Xinjiang's cotton resources, plan to expand the scale of cotton spinning to 6 million spindles, and encourage enterprises to extend to downstream industries such as weaving, printing and dyeing, clothing and so on, and strive to build the corps into important cotton yarn, cotton, textile and clothing production bases nationwide.

As of the end of July 2011, the Corps has started to build more than 1 million 400 thousand spindles of cotton spinning. By the end of the year, the volume of cotton spinning will reach 3 million 700 thousand.
