The United Front Department of our school organized the teachers' representatives of the democratic parties to visit the new rural construction in the village of Shek Tong Road, Miyun Town, Miyun city. Su Xiaoling, Minister of the United Front Work Department and 22 teachers from Democratic Party, including democratic construction, NLD and 93 schools, participated in the event.

Shek Tong Road Village was once a poor mountain village hidden in the deep mountains. In the end, the whole village took advantage of its unique natural advantages, such as Taoyuan's Fairy Valley and Kyoto First waterfall, and vigorously developed the tourism economy. In 2002, the village established the first Folklore Tourism Association in the city to standardize and manage all folklore households. 2 New Street parks are built, and the surrounding villages are planting and landscaping, and more than 2000 landscaping trees. The infrastructure is improved and the environment is livable. Today, we have also developed tourism products such as mountain fruit picking, straw craftwork, and so on. In 2008, in the selection of "the most beautiful village in Beijing", Shek Tong Road Village won the first prize. After the visit, the civil construction branch also carried out the mobilization of the general election of the District Committee.

Through this visit, we feel the tremendous changes that have taken place in rural areas over the past 30 years since reform and opening up, and deeply understand that the party's policies of Scientific Outlook on Development and benefiting farmers bring significant economic and cultural progress to the masses. The activities further closely linked with the grass-roots organizations and teachers of the democratic parties, supported and helped them to do well in the construction of grass-roots organizations, and provided conditions for the democratic parties to work in order to give full play to the role of democratic parties in school construction.
