Gap Intends To Open The First Banana Republic Store In France

Retail giant Gap Inc (GPS) announced on Monday that it plans to open its first Banana Republic clothing store in France in early December, just in time for the crucial Christmas shopping season.
The company said the new store will open on the famous Champs Elysees street in Paris.
Gap said the move is part of its international growth strategy.

Other brands include the Old Navy (Old Navy) and its namesake brands.
Gap created the Banana Republic website www.bananarepublic.eu for its European customers last year, serving 21 European countries.
Last week, Gap also announced plans to open stores in Vietnam and Guam.
The company will open a store of the same name in Hu Zhiming, Vietnam, in October of this year, and will open 3 Banana Republic stores next year.
The company also plans to open more stores next year in Hanoi.
It has a franchise under its Casual Clothing Specialist Inc.

Gap will also open two stores in Guam next January. This is the first time that it has opened a shop in the region.
Gap is headquartered in San Francisco, and currently operates more than 600 Banana Republic stores in the United States, Britain, Canada, Italy and Japan.
The company has a total of about 3100 company outlets and nearly 200 franchise stores.
