The invitational tournament is hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China, the China clothing and textile industry association and the Dalian Municipal People's government. The "Hai Chang Cup" 2011 International Fashion Academy Invitational design competition is the important event of the Fifth China (Dalian) International Garment and Textile Fair. It has hired the Chinese costume Merit Medal Award winner, the clothing educator Li Xin, Professor Qian Xiao Nong College of clothing industry of Dalian Polytechnic University, Professor Hechi Yoko of the fragrant orchid women's short University, and Yasuda Masako, Professor of Kobe art and Engineering University, as the contest judge.

The designers of the three fashion colleges from China and Japan compete with each other on the same stage. The creative design works have different styles and distinctive features, showing the unique cultural charm and fashion demeanour of Asia from different angles, showing the fashion ideas of Asian fashion designers who are fashionable, avant garde, creative and market value.

The "special contribution award" was awarded to Professor Yasuda Masako, Kobe arts and Engineering University, Professor Kawaji Yoko of the fragrant orchid women's University, and Professor Pan Li, our school of clothing.
