The third world footwear development forum will be held in Houjie Town from December 7th to 9. On November 11th afternoon, Houjie held a meeting to discuss the plan of this forum.

The Deputy Secretary of the Town Committee, Wan Zhuopei, the mayor of the town of the deputy town, participated in the meeting.

The theme of the third world footwear development forum is "the redevelopment of the world economy, the development of footwear industry, and then on the transformation and upgrading". Compared with the previous two sessions, the forum will invite representatives from 27 countries and regions, including Taiwan, Japan, the United States and France, and 7 industry giants and authoritative experts to participate in the forum. Through the way of dialogue and exchange and field visits, the China Leather Association will publish the report on the development trend of the world footwear industry and the Chinese footwear industry in the next five years, and jointly study the transformation and upgrading of the footwear industry.

While exploring the development prospects of the industry, our town will also issue the first five years development plan of Houjie shoe industry cluster for the first time. This also means that the future of Houjie shoe industry will be followed.

Wan Zhuopei pointed out that Houjie is known as the "shoe capital". Around the transformation and upgrading, our town has also actively introduced a number of measures to encourage shoe enterprises to accelerate technological innovation and promote brand building, and achieved good results. The holding of the forum will provide clearer guidance information for the transformation and development of enterprises, and hope that relevant departments should actively support and cooperate to provide a good environment for the development of activities.
