Last year, Yiwu's self import and export continued to maintain rapid growth. The total import and export volume reached 3 billion 950 million US dollars year-on-year, an increase of 26.5% over the previous year, of which exports were US $3 billion 600 million, an increase of 25.7% over the same period last year, which is 5.4 percentage points higher than that of the whole country. However, the growth rate began to slow compared with the 34% growth of the previous year.

Export data in the past 11 months showed that Latin America, ASEAN, India, Russia and other emerging markets grew strongly, with an increase of 31.1%, 45.7%, 37.5% and 33.3% respectively. Europe and the United States, which are heavily affected by debt, also maintain a growth rate of 23.9% and 23.3%.
