The government of Pakistan will establish a modern Multan.

The purpose of the exchange is to promote growers, purchasers, distributors and the latest technology to encourage cotton trade and production in the country.

This modern exchange will provide all the impetus for those engaged in cotton trade, including a seed testing laboratory, quality control room, certified seeds and insecticides, to ensure quality and quantity of cotton products.

An official of the Ministry of textile industry said on Wednesday that the exchange will be equipped with all modern facilities to enable relevant personnel to understand the local and international cotton market behavior.

The official once again said that the federal cotton Commission, headed by the Minister of textiles, will be set up within a few days to set up a national cotton planting target.

In addition, the Standing Committee of the national food safety and research Congress will discuss the feasibility of certification planting at the forthcoming meeting.
