In this study, in order to avoid the impact of exercise training on the results, the researchers analyzed 10 sedentary people, including five men and five women.

The research included measuring the electrical activity of female pelvic muscles at different angles of foot extension. When the foot reaches 15 degrees to the ground, it is equivalent to 2.75 inches of high-heeled shoes. In this case, the electrical activity of the pelvic muscles is 15% lower than the general condition.

The results showed that women wearing high-heeled shoes had more relaxed foot muscles and increased foot strength as well as the ability to relocate their feet.
