Following the Flavour of The World, Adidas Originals has launched the Sound of the City series with the classic brand of the five Urban music, leading the world to enjoy the music culture of the whole world, and jointly interpret the spirit of "spirit".

The five major Urban music brands and personages co operating with Adidas Originals are the Reggae famous brand Tuff Gong and the music Godfather Bob Marley from Kingstown, Jamaica; the classic jazz brand Blue Note from New Orleans; the soul music professional representative from Detroit Motown; the hip-hop soul character Jam Jam from New York Queens; the independent brand name of Memphis and blues.

Adidas's "city voice" sneakers adidas Originals traced back to the Urban music types they represented and the history and story of their birth cities, inspired by the 2008 Design of the "Sound of the City" series.

This series of distinctive local cultural characteristics and life stories of famous characters are used as elements to redesign Adidas Originals classic shoes and clothing, and to pay tribute to these five music brands and birthplaces which have far-reaching influence on Urban music.
