Phanthithanhxuan, Secretary General of Vietnam leather and Footwear Association, told industry trade that although Vietnam's leather industry and footwear industry still rely heavily on imports of raw materials, P has never had its own standard to control the use of dangerous chemicals.

According to the Vietnam leather and Footwear Association, the industry produces 22 to 250 thousand metric tons of leather annually, of which 100 thousand metric tons come from domestic manufacturers.
