In addition to exports of computers, semiconductors and general machinery increased by 37.3%, 7.5% and 1.2% compared with the same month last year, the remaining export items showed a decline, with 5.2% decline in wireless communication machines, 5.2% decline in steel products, 5.6% decline in automotive parts,

Recession 6.3%, ship decline 7.9%, vehicle recession 8%, flat display device recession 8.4%, petrochemical decline 20.1%, household appliances recession 24.3% and petroleum products decline 43.3%.

The Ministry of industry and Commerce of Korea announced the trend of import and export in April 2015 (the provisional value of Customs Statistics in from April 1st to 30th). The main export areas grew 1.4% in the Middle East, 2.7% in the US, 5.2% in the mainland, 11.4% in the central and South America, 11.9% in EU, 12.6% in Japan and 19.8% in ASEAN.
