According to the statistics of Urumqi customs, the export of footwear at Xinjiang port in the first quarter of this year was 4 billion 54 million yuan (RMB, the same below), an increase of 1.5%, and the average export price also increased.

Among them, the export of shoes by border trade means 2 billion 836 million yuan, accounting for 70% of the total value of shoes exported from Xinjiang ports in the same period, 867 million yuan in general trade mode and 350 million yuan in tourism shopping.

In the first quarter, the Xinjiang port increased 2.6 times the export shoes of Kyrgyzstan, which was 2.6 times better than the total. The export to Kazakhstan and Russia decreased.

Over the same period, Xinjiang port's export footwear to Tajikistan increased by 10.99%.

Customs Statistics analysts believe that the footwear industry's downward pressure on foreign trade development remains.

It is suggested that footwear export enterprises should be guided to develop into emerging markets, actively expand market share, effectively deal with trade conflicts, and strive for reasonable trade interests;
